Colour: A beautiful copper robe with a luminous brilliance and crystalline clarity.
Nose: Expressive and generous nose, marked by dried fruits, candied apricot and golden honey. Pastry notes then emerge, carried by vanilla and toffee, in a wave of indulgence.
Palate: Structured and full-bodied, with an enveloping roundness. Notes of toffee accompanied by dried fruits, soft spices and subtle woody notes with bourbon accents. Great length, stretching over aromas of undergrowth, with the first hints of a nascent rancio. Beautiful texture on the palate, driven by the aromatic expression of Colombard, with notes of spice, citrus and white flowers.
Finish: The Pouchégu cask finish crowns the whole, bringing depth and complexity.
